ABC Preschool offers a unique,
individualized, age appropriate curriculum to challenge each child's
learning potential. The most recent research on early childhood brain
development has concluded that the more a young child is exposed to a
curriculum that challenges her/him, the more neurons are formed in her/his
brain. More neurons developed in the young child's brain means more avenues
and availability for complex, lifelong learning and a higher IQ. We tailor
each child's daily academic curriculum to challenge her/his learning so that
every day s/he will form many new neurons.
It is amazing how
much 3 to 5 year old children can learn! We teach them in positive,
nurturing and creative ways which inspire them to want to achieve in
reading, writing and math. 90% of the girls are reading on a first grade
level by the time they graduate, are writing and doing math. 90% of the boys
are beginning to read, write, have a solid phonics base and are doing math
by the time they graduate. Due to the high teacher/ student ratio of 1/6 we
are able to tailor every child's academic curriculum to her/his needs.
Children move at their own pace on their own academic work so that they feel
challenged and successful.
The atmosphere here
is relaxed, where children feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. The
children get a lot of individual attention as well as freedom to safely
explore. They are encouraged to be creative thinkers. Indoors, we have a
wide variety of thought provoking toys and activities available including
puzzles, play dough, paint,
puppets, farm animals, dinosaurs, lots
of books, blocks, legos, knex, cars, trucks, buses, dolls and a play
kitchen, Outside we have a large play area with climbing structures, swings,
slide, a treasure chest sandbox, deck, grass and lots of trees.
Group activities include singing time, story time, circle
time, jogging, dancing, indoor and outdoor games.
There is no registration fee and the first week's tuition is half price.
