Seedlings is a unique nursery, toddler, and preschool program serving children ages 6 months to 5 years old. Admission is not limited by reason of religion, racial, or national background. At Seedlings, we believe that lifelong personal development begins in early childhood and includes emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth. Although most of this development takes place within the family, Seedlings provides a learning center which addresses the needs of young children and supports the families of the Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church and the community. We are a part-time, play-based preschool with an excellent staff, low child/teacher ratios, and small class sizes. |

We have openings for the 2010-2011 school year in our
Sunflowers (pre-kindergarten for 4 year olds) and Developmental Kindergarten
(for 5 year olds) classes! Please contact the Seedlings Office. We also have

Seedlings also offers a Developmental Kindergarten
program for children who are eligible to attend public kindergarten but need
an extra year of preschool. Our
program offers small class sizes, low teacher to child
ratio's and a stimulating, developmentally appropriate curriculum to get
them excited about learning and further develop their skills to prepare them
