Starlight School is a center-based preschool providing care and instruction using Montessori methods. The School serves children aged 18 months to first grade entry. The School is open Monday through Friday 9am to 3:30 pm. Parisa Lo Bianco, the owner, is a member of the American Montessori Society. The School is committed to providing a nurturing environment and quality care. We offer materials and activities, which promote academic, emotional, and social growth according to the capacity of each child. The qualities of grace, courtesy and respect are modeled and encouraged. Character development is a primary goal at the School. We believe that the child who displays virtues such as self-confidence, empathy, independence, compassion and self-esteem is able to take on academic and social challenges with relative ease. Starlight School is also committed to fostering understanding of world cultures. |

Parent conferences are held during the year as well as Parent Education Nights. There are many ways for parents to volunteer their time and be involved in the School as well.
All staff are Montessori trained and hold higher degrees. |
