In our preschool/kindergarten
program, we implement the Montessori philosophy using age
appropriate materials. This is accomplished in a comfortable,
nurturing home setting. The prepared environment enables the child
to learn through exploration and discovery. The classroom has
several sections
such as practical life, sensorial, geography,
science, math, language, art, and music, The goal is for the
children to have fun and become prepared with life long skills as
well as independent, confident and have a high self esteem. |

The teacher/director is AMS (American Montessori
Society) certified and a member of NAEYC (National Association for the
Education of Young Children). Mona has a Bachelors degree in
science with emphasis on pre-med from West Texas A & M University. She
received the Montessori certification from East Bay , Hayward. The
teacher is a qualified Cite Supervisor on the California matrix for
